Situated in the heart of the city, it provided an ideal base for exploring Budapest's historic charm, with famous spots like Heroes' Square just a 15-minute walk away. The highlight of our visit was the Royal Spa, where we enjoyed the stunning pool framed by Corinthian columns and a stained-glass ceiling-truly an art deco masterpiece. The attentive staff, especially Sadiq in the executive lounge, made our experience unforgettable; he effortlessly personalized our stay, even remembering our favorite drinks, which added a touch of familiarity amidst the lavish surroundings. We were celebrating my partner's 30th birthday, and arriving to a complimentary bottle of champagne and a delicious cake in our room was a delightful surprise that perfectly encapsulated the thoughtful hospitality we encountered throughout our stay. Dining at the Brasserie for their exceptional breakfast offered not only a wide selection of healthy choices but also a lovely atmosphere to kick-start our mornings. The quality of the food reflected Hungary's rich culinary heritage and was a wonderful way to begin our day before adventuring out into the city. Corinthia Budapest undoubtedly set a high bar, combining indulgence, history, and a warm ambiance that left us longing for more. It's a haven I would happily revisit, especially for those steamy post-run soaks at Széchenyi Thermal Bath!
